BIO: By Invitation Only — Michele Lewis — Urbandale, IA

Michele LewisMichele Lewis has spent the past eight years as a successful Field Sales Consultant in Henry Schein’s Urbandale, Iowa Center.  Michele enjoys serving a large territory as her customers are spread across the state.  Despite competition from Patterson Dental, Michele has excelled as a Field Sales Consultant and is frequently first in her region for top sales, and in January 2011 led the region in tech sales.  She says her greatest achievements are still ahead of her, though.

Michele admires her mother for always emphasizing the importance of communication, independence, and achieving success.  “I don’t have a lot of patience, but the patience I have I’ve learned from my mother.”  As a young girl, Michele loved spending time with family and vacationing with her grandparents.  Since her family doesn’t live close, she loves cooking, shopping and riding horses with friends and spending quality time with herfiancé and his sons.  Michele has a busy schedule filled with work and entertaining friends, but also finds it important to have alone time.  You’ll often find her watching her favorite movie The Silence of the Lambs, or relaxing with an entertaining book.  She is currently reading Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo, which is about a young boy who had a near death experience.

Michele’s idea of a perfect day consists of a cup of coffee in the morning accompanied by a view of her horses roaming the pasture.  Michele is a true animal lover and has a strong bond with her dogs, Oliver and Cooper.  Michele is also a people person who respects those who are honest, considerate, and follow through with tasks.  Even though Michele has a great sense of humor, she doesn’t find it funny when people are rude, deceitful or inconsiderate.

Michele believes it’s important to improve the world, so she lives by the maxim “leave everything better than you found it.”  Working with Straine has made her a better person.  Michele says, “I respect how Kerry connects with his clients.  He has helped me connect with my customers and I’ve learned the importance of understanding different behavioral styles.  What works for one customer may not work for another.  This knowledge has helped me build stronger relationships with my customers and become even more successful.”
