BIO: By Invitation Only — Tom Dietzler — Lititz, PA

Tom-Dietzler-2010Tom Dietzler earned an Associate of Science Degree in Business from Delaware County Community College in 1970, and then moved to Lititz, Pennsylvania, the heartland of rich farming country in Lancaster County, to take a position with Healthco.  Although he left Healthco, Tom stayed in Lititz because the “small town feel” and “work ethic” in the community “reflected my values.” Most people don’t know that Tom was a dental Tech in the Navy before joining Henry Schein 13 years ago as a Field Sales Consultant and has distinguishing himself in the top 5% for the last ten years.  Every job Tom has he approaches it with the motto, “Any job worth doing is worth doing well.”

Currently Tom services the Henry Schein Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Center and says the most unique characteristic about his territory is the commitment his customers have to technology, which is no surprise, since he is passionately committed to learning new ideas and sharing them with his customers.

Relationships are very important to Tom, so he invest time in energy to make them strong. Tom is devoted to his wife, Pat, four adult children, and finds happiness spending time at the beach with family.  Some of Tom’s favorite childhood memories include long days at the beach with his parents.  Tom is grateful for his mother for teaching him to stand up for what he believes in and credits his father for instilling a strong work ethic.

Negativity is a pet peeve of Toms since he’s an easy going man who often response to difficult situations with the phrase “It is what it is!” Its obvious Tom is passionate about is career as he proclaims, “I love the dental industry!”  Straine is proud to recognize Tom Dietzler as the only Henry Schein Team Member to win the Project HOPE Award three years in a row: 2009, 2010 and 2011!
