BIO: By Invitation Only — Patrick Eavey — Mechanicsville, VA

Patrick---BestPatrick Eavey joined team Henry Schein in 2002 as a Field Sales Consultant for the Virginia Center.  Patrick appreciates the change in scenery his territory offers, “I’m looking at the Chesapeake Bay one day and the mountains of the Shenandoah Valley the next!”  Before becoming a Field Sales Consultant, Patrick graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing with a minor in Economics.

Patrick learned important life skills in college and from his parents, “My father taught me to follow through on promises and always be willing to help others.  ‘Do unto others as you would have them do to you.’  My mother always told me ‘a parent’s love is unconditional’ and mothers are always right!  She also said ‘what you may not understand at a given moment, you will with time.’” Growing up Patrick had some of his fondest memories fishing with his grandfather and “Waiting for the big catch!”

Patrick loves every moment spent with wife, Jamie, three-year old daughter Raleigh and one-year old son Ryan, “My greatest achievement is my wife and children.  My family, friends and God are most important to me.  I find joy seeing my family and friends healthy, happy and reaching their goals.” When you’re around Patrick, you’ll notice he’s a happy person, “Most people notice my smile because no matter how hard I try, I can’t hide it.”  He also can’t hide his positive attitude so you’ll often hear him say, “It’s all good!” Patrick says he’s enthusiastic, yet he wishes he would speak his mind more often, “I consider myself a very quiet person.”

Patrick isn’t shy about expressing his appreciation for Straine, though, “Since working with Straine, I have learned quite a bit.  Before Straine, I focused on what others had in their territories without seeing my own territory potential.  Straine has a great system that works!  I’m a numbers guy and with Straine’s help I’m able to provide my customers with valuable information about their practice.  Understanding the ‘ins-and-outs’ of their practice has boosted my confidence.  Straine has been a great asset for me and my customers and I feel I now have a powerful and distinctive advantage over the competition!”
