Randy-MontgomeryRandy Montgomery graduated from Louisiana State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and it would be an understatement to say he has built a successful career at the Henry Schein New Orleans Center over the past decade.  It appears Randy has earned more awards than there are floats in a Mardi Gras parade including 2008 Top 20%, 2009 Top 20%, 2010 Top 10%, 2011 Top 10%, 2012 Top 10%, 2013 Top 10%, 2014 Top 10%, 2010 and 2013 Dexis Sales Champion and the #1 and #2 Producer in Southeast Zone!  What is the secret to Randy’s consistent success?  Randy says achieving a goal is not always an easy task, “Success always has and continues to be defined as getting up one more time than you’ve been knocked down.”  Randy especially enjoys the diversity of his territory sharing, “I get an opportunity to work with doctors in the city, down in ‘The Bayou,’ (also known as South Louisiana) and in many rural areas.”

Even though a successful career is an important aspect of Randy’s life, what he values most is the strong bond he shares with his wife Kelly, seven-year old son Reed, five-year old daughter Molly and two-year old daughter Arden, “I would do anything for my family.  Becoming a husband and father is my greatest accomplishment.  I’m thankful for my family every day and realize that my kids are the center of my world!  I look forward to watching them grow up, get married and become successful in their lives.”

Randy says he treasures the close relationship he shared with his parents and siblings, “I’m the youngest of five children, so there was always someone to play with when I was younger.  I enjoy thinking back on all the good times I had with my brother and sisters throughout the years.”  Randy is thankful that his parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and what others say is a heart of gold, “My father taught me that nothing in life is free and if you want something then you must earn it while my mother showed me the importance of being a caring person.  She would do anything for her children and grandchildren.”

Aside from spending time with his family, Randy is an avid sports fan, specifically football, baseball and golf.  Randy has now added another accomplishment to his career as Straine’s first winner of its 2015 Straine Project HOPE Award and will get to strike the ball at Monterey Peninsula Country Club in November.

“I’ve been blessed to have so many wonderful people influence my growth and success over the years and I’m thankful to have learned important lessons both personally and professionally.  Since I’ve started working with Straine Consulting I’ve been reminded to continue setting goals for myself, consistently executing my plan every day and never stopping until I reach my goals!”
